Customer Support Manager
Having joined Round House in 2019, Jason manages all contracts within the business, excluding those in the Oil and Gas industry, from receipt of request to delivery. Jason completed a four year mechanical engineering apprenticeship at Europack and has worked in subsea control and protection systems along with other various engineering industries. He has an HNC in mechanical engineering, an ONC in electronics and electrical engineering and his CAD level two.
Jason spends most of his free time with his family.
An interesting and little known fact about Jason is that whilst doing his apprenticeship at Europack they built a nine seater bike and rode the bike to France for Charity.
Dan did his apprenticeship at Lotus and then went on to earn hisMasters in Engineering at Brunel where he wrote his final year dissertation on turbocharging a CBR600 motorbike engine. Then he joined Siemens in their small frame gas turbines moving up to medium and then large frame turbines. Simultaneously, Dan moved from a combustion engineer to a project manager where he became a chartered engineer (CEng). He has managed project teams at Parker Hannifin, becoming a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Meggitt, and completed his MBA at Imperial College London. He can’t help but show his love of engineering and enthusiasm for engineering!
A lesser known fact: Dan worked on Andy Carters Top Fuel Drag Car, and the team won the European Championship in 2001.
Business Development Manager; Oil and Gas
Andrew is responsible for the Round House Oil and Gas division, managing from quotations through to project management and completion. He conducts sales research, and manages key customer relationships, enabling thorough and predictive management of upcoming orders.
During his 25-year tenure, Andrew has held various positions including Quality Assurance Manager, Health & Safety Manager, General Manager and Sales Director.
Andrew began his career in 1977 as an apprentice with Howards Metal Fabricators. Later he worked Offshore and as a Supervisor at Sizewell B before joining Roundhouse in 1994. Further education includes City and Guilds in Sheet Metal Fabricating and Welding and QA/QC Inspection gained at Lowestoft College.
Andrew is passionate about golf and travels the world in pursuit of playing. In 2004 Andrew had the honour of being selected as Club Captain of Rookery Park Golf Club.
David joined Round House in 2019 as Production Manager. He ensures efficiency throughout the shop floor and on-time delivery of orders. He came to Round House from Britvic, Europe’s largest drinks manufacturer.
David has obtained the IMEA Q20015 – operational excellence in manufacturing, is an AM Practitioner, has an RSPH Level 3 HACCP, and various City and Guilds qualifications in electronic systems, circuits and components. He also has accreditation in COSHH, IOSH, EEM, DSEAR and factory hygiene.
David is passionate about achieving the highest standards and about ensuring the wellbeing of his staff.
David’s main interests are music and motorsport. An interesting fact about David is that he plays a very nice guitar in a band.
Supply Chain Manager
Jamie has been with Round House since 1998. He sources materials and services at the best price for our customers and the business. A natural problem solver, he helps to manage machine breakdowns, site maintenance and repairs.
Previously, Jamie worked as a mechanical and electrical maintenance apprentice and as an electrical / electronic production technician. He has qualifications, skills and experience in fabrication, machining, welding, electrical & electronics, hydraulics & pneumatics.
When Jamie is not spending time with his family, he has a passion for creating retro arcade gaming projects. From concept, design, planning, building and programming. And when he has time, he attempts to play them.
A lesser known fact: Jamie was one of the first Fire Cadets within the history of Norfolk Fire Brigade to achieve all five-star exams as a Leading Fire Cadet.
Stuart joined Round House in 2019 managing the Company’s safety and quality standards. He has experience in Oil and Gas manufacturing quality assurance.
Outside of work, Stuart is passionate about playing music and spending time at his son’s sporting activities.
A little known fact about Stuart: He has played drums in many bands in many places, some venues as far away as Paris and Plaisir, to the famous Dublin Castle in Camden where bands such as Madness, Amie Winehouse, Blur all started out.
Martin has been a key leader in Round House since 1992 when it was purchased by his family. As the company has recently been sold, Martin is now Sales Director. Previously, he worked at Yarmouth Steel Limited, another family business.
Martin has passion for the Company, is proud of the quality work produced by the shop floor employees and believes in the superior skills of the staff. This and his deep knowledge of the company enable him to authentically and knowledgeably serve customers as Sales Director.
Outside of work, Martin is passionate about golf and earlier in his life, he played as a professional golfer.
A little known fact about Martin: Various friendships from Caribbean travels led to his being invited to cut the cake for Bob Marley’s 74th Birthday at Marley’s burial site making Martin the first person outside the Marley family to have this honour.
